About me

I manage the National Robotarium’s communications, PR, and marketing activities, including digital, web and social media content creation and management. I have 17+ years’ experience in higher education, working in a variety of communications, engagement, events and administration roles.

When not spinning a good (robotics) yarn, you’ll usually find me at a gig, in a charity shop or deeply engrossed in books and podcasts about old Hollywood.

My favourite thing about working at the National Robotarium is…

The friendliness, enthusiasm and energy of the team. They are truly passionate about advancing robotic technologies that can improve people’s lives and it’s an honour to get to share with the world the brilliant work they do.

About me

I am a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong background in events, marketing, and customer service. I’ve successfully organised events across the UK, Europe, and the USA, combining my passion for travel with my expertise. I excel in client interactions, consistently delivering exceptional service and ensuring every event is executed flawlessly.

With a customer-centric approach, I integrate my passion growth into event planning to drive impactful results and create added value for all. Beyond my professional work, I also enjoy being on the other side of events as a DJ. I’ve performed at music festivals throughout the UK and in Ibiza, blending my love for music with my event experience.

My favourite thing about working at the National Robotarium is…

I am new to the AI sector and feel fortunate to work in such an incredible environment. Hosting events both internally and externally gives me the opportunity to connect with a diverse and inspiring group of people. Every day feels like a new adventure, and going to work truly feels like both a job and a hobby!

About me

I am a previously qualified & trained actor with 5+ years in the field before turning around my career path during the pandemic. After working in the wine and coffee industry for a few years, I discovered an interest in tech and completed a bootcamp in Professional Software Development. This experience introduced me to the National Robotarium, and therefore the beginning of a new career in tech/robotics.
Alongside my smorgasbord of professional endeavours, I also occasionally take on occasional side jobs in singing and acting, and I’m a mostly self-taught musician. My hobbies include music, foraging, making kombucha, making music, baking, swimming, hiking and writing when I get the chance.

My favourite thing about working at the National Robotarium is…

The people! (and robots, of course) – everyone is great. Plus, much opportunity for growth, networking and dabbling in various pursuits within the NR. i.e events, taking tours etc. No two days are the same, and I’m a big fan of that!
