I am an engagement specialist with over 10 years’ experience in inspiring the next generation. After graduating in Edinburgh, I started my career in Asia, developing niche startups in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand all concentrated around creating new and exciting opportunities for young people through sport and technology. Now back in Edinburgh I am excited to help The National Robotarium shape how we interact with the future, it’s technology and its people.
I have the best job in the team. I work with the latest technology every day, share it with students and get to see the look of excitement on their faces as they begin to realise the possibilities.
I am a previously qualified Business and Computing Science teacher with over 15 years’ experience of working with young people, in my current role I inspire the next generation of STEM and Robotics engineers by raising awareness of industry demands and showcasing real-world examples. The other part of my role is to create upskilling/reskilling programmes for industry partners who are introducing robotics into their projects.
Working at the National Robotarium, I get to work on a wide and diverse range of projects at the cutting edge of technology. It Is inspirational and innovative working with the team at the National Robotarium in which I get to make a positive impact.
